Description: I thought this was great book filled with supsense passion intrigue and tonz of unsupected twist. A book that'll keep u interested till the end.
Description: I LUV the Black Dagger Brotherhood!!!
Let me start out by saying I do not like vampire books, the sometimes unwilling conversions and the whole undead thing does not appeal to me at all. So, why do I luv this series so much? Because the vampires in J. R. Warden's series are nothing like the typical vampires, there are no two-prong conversions by vampires of humans, and the blood they require is from vampires of the opposite sex.
The current Brotherhood consists of six vampire warriors who defend civilian vampires from the lessers, ageless de-souled humans whose purpose is to exterminate the vampire race for their leader the Omega.
Dark Lover is about Wrath ( old world spelling ), the last pure blood vampire, and reluctant king of the vampires, and Beth, the unknowing half-breed daughter of a warrior about to go through her transition and become a vampire.
Far from being cold and undead, these vampires are hot, sexy, hip, troubled, funny, and did I mention sexy?
Description: My first review of the Black Dagger Brotherhood book Dark Lover can be found here so I won't go into the background of the series again. This book is the 2nd in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and is about Rhage and Mary.
Mary is a human, dealing with a recurrance of her cancer. Rhage the warrior brother, described as more handsome than any actor including Brad Pitt, and is how he gets his nickname Hollywood, but he's dealing with his own curse, one that can only be controled with fighting or sex. This book was a lot more emotional ( have plenty of tissues handy! ) than Dark Lover, and just as enjoyable.

This book is the 3rd in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and is about Zsadist, another of the vampire warriors and Bella, who's mother if part of the vampire aristocracy.
In the previous book, Bella was believed dead, kidnapped by a lesser who she reminded of his deceased wife. Zsadist was kidnapped as a baby and then held as a blood slave for years. Despite Bella's recent trauma, or maybe because of it, she is the first person Z can touch phyiscally and help heal mentally.
This book is even more emotional ( think Kleenex stock ) than Lover Eternal and even more enjoyable as we get to know all the brothers.
