Description: Marnie is a real woman, smart and clever who falls head over hells in love with a man she just met. Jake is a romantic hero, scowling to hide his torment. Although betrayed by his first love, there's something about Marnie that's getting through his defenses and straight to his heart.
Description: I read the book and found it profoundly boring. I guess this is what you get from an organisation that started off as a culty Christian evangelical club (The Oxford club). The book is preachy and I think the treatment of alcoholism has come a long since the days of God will save you. Really this book is like the Exodus program except for alcoholics.
Description: I was deeply offended by the one review I read. If millions of addicts and alcoholics have used the recovery concepts in this book to stay clean and sober who is he to judge. I am not saying that there are not other recovery methods that work. I am saying I find this book to be very inspirational and if the concepts are followed can lead to a very fullfilling life. This book teaches how to live life on lifes terms and not to be a selfish self-centered person.
Description: Along Comes A Legend is a breath of fresh air for the western romance novels.
It's full of action and romance. It is also fast-paced and very believable. You find yourself drawn into the story with every turn of the page. It's a book that you can't put down, because you have to find out what happens to the lovable characters.
It's a must read if you like western romances.
Description: After reading this author's first book, Along Comes a Legend, I've been waiting for another book by Ms. Boulds. My wait is over, and it was well worth it.
Briana, is another wonderful western romance novel. The story draws the reader in, and leaves you wishing for more at the end of the book. It's a must read, if you like this genre of books.
